Privacy Policy

ToneCut (“the app”) is published by the developer of ToneCut (“we”). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: we do not collect any data.

Audio and video stay on your device

Files you import, waveform edits, exported ringtone or alert files, and your “My ringtones” list are stored on your iPhone. The app does not require an account. Media is processed locally; we do not upload your clips to our servers.

Data we collect

None. The app has no account or sign-in, shows no ads, and contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not use the advertising identifier. Network use is limited to Apple StoreKit for purchases and opening Support or Privacy links in Safari when you tap them.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase status on your device using Apple’s StoreKit.

Information Apple provides to developers

Through App Store Connect, Apple may give developers aggregated information such as downloads, sales and app usage statistics. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers, Apple may also provide crash reports. This information is provided by Apple and is not used by us to identify you. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Your choices

Deleting the app removes its local library and exports from the app container. Files you saved to Files or shared elsewhere remain under your control.

Children’s privacy

ToneCut is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data, no personal information about children is collected.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If we ever start collecting data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that change takes effect.
