Privacy Policy

TrustClean Photo Cleaner · Effective date: October 20, 2026

TrustClean Photo Cleaner (“TrustClean”, “the app”) is published by the developer of TrustClean (“we”). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: we do not collect any data.

Your photos stay on your device

TrustClean asks for access to your photo library only to find duplicate and similar photos. All scanning, matching and analysis happen on your iPhone. Your photos, videos and the results of the analysis are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Items you delete go to an in-app Trash stored on your device.

Data we collect

None. The app has no account or sign-in, shows no ads, and contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not use the advertising identifier.

Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase status on your device using Apple’s StoreKit; we do not run a server that stores your purchase history. Apple’s handling of this information is described in Apple’s privacy policy.

Information Apple provides to developers

Through App Store Connect, Apple gives developers aggregated information such as downloads, sales and app usage statistics. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may also provide crash reports and diagnostics. This information is provided by Apple, is not used by us to identify you, and is only available if you have agreed to share it. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Notifications

If you start a free trial, the app can schedule a reminder 24 hours before the trial ends. This is a local notification created on your device; no data is sent to us. You can turn notifications off in Settings at any time.

Children’s privacy

TrustClean is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data, no personal information about children is collected.

Your choices

You can change or revoke photo library access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos. Deleting the app removes the app’s local data (such as settings and scan progress) from your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If we ever start collecting data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that change takes effect.
